The City of Bexley is an inner-ring suburb in the Columbus metropolitan area of Franklin County, Ohio. Rubino’s Pizza, one of Central Ohio’s first pizzerias’ opening in the early 1950’s, their pies feature a cracker thin crust that is regarded by most as one of the areas best pizzas. No deliveries, pickup or dine-in only. Also, don’t forget to take cash or a check, they don’t accept credit or debit cards. The original neon sign is highly-visible at their East Main Street location. One of our personal favorites!
The Top Steak House, another classic which opened in 1955, is a fine-dining restaurant that hasn’t changed much since the 50’s, The Top simply put is a Columbus area icon. Their website sums it up best, “Inside, you’ll still find all the hallmarks of a true 1950s supper club—the dimly lit, wood-paneled dining room with leather booths, the shiny copper bar lined with longtime regulars, the original piano bar.”.
